Let’s talk about FRAMING! It’s my absolute favorite way to transform a portrait from simply an image into a tangible, lasting art piece for your home.

Framing elevates your artwork, enhances home decor, creates a legacy piece, and ensures that your portrait is seen and enjoyed on a daily basis. Which frame do you love most for this gorgeous portrait?

I often get the question - how do I select the best frame?
.
1) I’m here to help! ❤️ I’ll have suggestions and visual pieces to help you decide.
.
2) Match the frame to the artwork and your preferred aesthetic. There are a variety of ways to do this, and we’ll find the best one for your portrait.
.
3) If you’re creating a gallery wall, depending on your style, you’ll either want to match all the frames or create an eclectic feel. Either way, a cohesive palette is importantly.
.
4) Lastly, when selecting your frame consider the room it’s being installed in, eg. The paint color, lighting, decor, mood, the purpose of the room.

Happy birthday to the APS installer AND more importantly, my sweet husband. Many of you have met him when we deliver and install your gorgeous portraits, and know that he is pure gold. Mostly because he says yes to all the impossible spaces we decide to hang 60” portraits🤪.

41 looks good on this gent. We’re heading to @imagingusa this week and Marty needed a suit upgrade, and because of that, a photo shoot❤️. There’s no one handsomer in my eyes!

“I’m not even sure where to begin as our session begins LONG before the actual photos are taken! Anj took the time to listen to my dilemma of wanting our family portraits to match our home vibe (mainly black & white) while finding out my “season” consists of mainly browns and greens (you know mama’s gotta look good in her fit)😂 She took the time to find outfits that matched all our personalities and even agreed to a FaceTime session to confirm all the extra options!

We ended up rescheduling our session so we could have our new pup join us. Completely Anj’s idea and I was overjoyed as our dogs are definitely part of our family! By the time we actually arrived to the studio we’d already spent hours perfecting outfits not to mention Anj’s time getting the studio/backdrops ready.

In complete Steenblock tradition we came in like a mini tornado & brought lots of chaos (3 kids, 2 dogs & a husband who had to get back for a work meeting). Anj kept her calm, cool demeanor & captured our family so perfectly (or perfectly imperfect, just as we are)! Reviewing the portraits is always magical as she always captures everyone’s essence (the genuine smiles to the story-telling moments).

And last but not least, she helps you create artwork in your home by selecting the perfect portraits! The icing on top is the literal “white glove” delivery and mounting (shout out to Marty)! Our house is filled with portraits of our family over the last 8 years and I smile every time I walk by them…absolutely priceless!”
