Friday Self-Portraits are sometimes just about getting in front of the camera - reminding myself what it feels like to pose, to move, so that I can feel what a client feels. So that I can have the words to help make a client feel comfortable and understand what muscles my uses in various positions❤️.

My goal is to be the expert on every level - lighting, posing, overall composition, so that you, my dear friends, just get to have FUN (and feel as beautiful as you are❤️).

What is an Art Selection appointment?
.
At Anj Portrait Studio, we focus on tangible art for your home. Gorgeous framed art, heirloom albums, gifts to be passed down for generations. As a mom to 3 boys, I can fully attest to the fact that too many memories simply stay on my phone or the computer. My favorite? Seeing the portraits on our walls of our boys and our family growing while drinking my morning espresso.

At your Art Selection appointment we’ll review your images and select which ones will become art in your home. You’ll send me images of your home so we can view them on a large screen and preview your potential art at an appropriate size for the space.

The finale? We deliver and install your custom art❤️.

Content, falling through the looking glass, always growing, always changing, aware, and intentional.

Leaning into boundaries and being okay letting go - on personal and professional levels. Gratitude - so much gratitude. Recognizing that the person I thought I’d be didn’t come to fruition, but the Anj from before didn’t know what she didn’t know. Quiet confidence.
